Culture change often occurs when two organizations merge and must find a single unifying culture, or when an organization's culture causes major problems and must be drastically changed in order to ensure the company's survival. Changing an organization's culture is not an easy process, but it can be done with the use of 12 key mechanisms. This activity is important because culture change is a difficult process that you are likely to encounter in your career and understanding how to make it happen is a valuable skill.

The goal of this exercise is to challenge your understanding of the 12 mechanisms that can be used to change an organization's culture.

Elision is a profitable multinational manufacturing company that has recently been through a slew of ethical scandals, ranging from how the company treats its workers to its lack of social responsibility. The company has hired a new CEO, Anaya Khurana, who is working to change the culture.
