The professional association I researched and determined would be highly beneficial to me throughout my professional career is the American Management Association (AMA). AMA is a non-profit educational membership organization for promoting management (AMA, n.d.). This organization is a world leader in professional development, providing me with the opportunity to advance my professional skills. Individual memberships start at $249 and go up to $4995.00 per year for the entire organization which includes a full year of unlimited training. The access includes 160 AMA courses, 19 live online express courses, and 75 webinars. As a future Health and Wellness Director the association will train me to lead in a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture. Another way this association will benefit me throughout my professional career is by giving lessons on becoming effective at executive speaking, how to motivate and reward staff, boost employment engagement, productivity, and innovation. This association will keep me up to date on the latest trends, exclusive publications, insider events, and all other business and professional needs that will keep me at the top of my professional game, allowing me to become and remain a marketable employee
