The project management plan documents the roadmap that guides the project team through the various project activities. This is an elaborative document constituting several subsidiary plans developed to cover each knowledge area. In groups of five (5), students are to select a project (provided below) to solve a problem confronting a corporate entity, community or the country; please agree with your lecturer prior to commencing the assignment. The group shall then proceed to develop project management plan to guide the execution of the chosen project. Students are to take the chosen project through the initiation and planning stages, creating a project charter. Remember, among other things, that the project charter affords the opportunity to critically assess the business case. Then, based on the project charter, students are to proceed to the planning process and clearly demonstrate the management of the following knowledge areas: (1) scope, (2) schedule, (3) cost and (4) risk. Students are to apply the various Inputs, Tools and Techniques in the planning process. In order to assess individual effort, the lecturer shall engage with individual members in the group on the area they are working on at least (2) times before assignment submission. Lastly, students are required to write an individual reflective report ( 1000 words, excluding reference list) as part of this assignment. Students are to select one Project topic from these topics indicated. 1. Planting for food and Jobs project by the Hunger Project
