The project must be done individually or in small teams of up to 4 people. o Note that teams are not assigned and is up to students to decide if and who to work with on this assignment. The instructor does not in any way manage student teams, and does not decide who is added or dropped from a team due to personal conflicts. You will be performing an original data analysis on a data set that you find yourself. You will provide a written paper. There is only a written paper (or PowerPoint) for this assignment worth 100 points. This project is worth 25% of your final grade. There is no length requirement for the paper. However, the paper must address the following components: o Title Page o Introduction, which includes a brief background discussion related to the topic and study o Data Collection o Results of data analysis/testing o Analysis and interpretation of the results o Conclusion o References Paper must be double spaced if not a PowerPoint. Paper must provide all graphs, tables, and calculations. While these will be accepted as attachments in an appendix, it is preferred that you include them in the paper or PPT at the point they are discussed. Paper must demonstrate at least two approaches to data analysis or multiple data sets used in comparison. Examples include: o descriptive statistics and regression analysis o comparing groups and regression analysis o regression analysis of multiple groups Paper should follow APA style guidelines to include citing all references. Paper will be turned in on the eLearning site by the due date. Any violation of academic honesty rules and guidelines will result in a score of 0 for the entire project. Your data analysis must be original! In addition, all portions of your write up must be written by yourself. When ideas are used from other sources, these sources must be cited. There should be no quotations in your paper. You are allowed, and in fact, encouraged, to use the writing lab tutors to help you polish your finished paper. Give an example application
