The project requires you to be in a position of a team leader/ supervisor/ new emerging manager who has an important leadership role in the development of efficient and effective work teams.
Leaders at this level provide leadership for the team and bridge the gap between the management of the organisation and the team members. As such they must 'manage up' as well as manage their team/s.
You are required to provide evidence of your skills and knowledge to produce outcomes, this includes to plan and supervise the performance of the team and develop team cohesion.
If you are not currently working in a team leader/management role, you may use the team goal described in Project 1 (to increase team productivity) for this work plan. You can base your work plan on solutions and strategies you developed for Project 1.
A work plan template is provided in Additional Documents for your guidance, it is not compulsory to use this template. The template provides headings and instructions to outline what you would include in a work plan. Remove the instructions and replace with your work plan information to create the plan. You may choose not to use the template and submit a work plan designed to your own choice of format or a format provided by your current workplace.
You are required to liaise with management and develop a team work plan for an organisation you are currently working with or have worked with in the past including:
documentation of how it was generated and how it will be monitored,
identify and incorporate innovation and productivity measures in the plan and
identify the application of your knowledge of organisational goals, objectives and other related plans.
The evidence you provide must also include
how you plan to ensure team engagement and effectiveness
using analytical thinking techniques to discuss how you observed processes, identified issues, gathered feedback, interpreted your findings and collated all this information to help you create the solution to suit your team.
