The purpose of these assignments is to provide you with an opportunity to see the application of marketing and marketing concepts in the business world as it reported in the press. An additional purpose is to help you improve your business writing skills.

Article criteria:

• Your article should be substantive from an appropriate source - preferably a business-focused publication or a publication that has significant business coverage. It may be video or audio as well.
• Must be dated within three months of the due date
• Must be related to current reading

Tasks:

1. Summarize article (about a paragraph, maybe 2)
2. Identify and explain at least three marketing-related concepts from current reading or project element
3. How is the way the concept is in your article similar and different that the reading?
4. Discuss your reactions (why you chose, did you like, what else)
