The purpose of this assignment is to give you opportunity to prepare a project plan for the individual project on which you are working.

A few tips to consider while designing and creating your own project plan:

Your project plan is the document that tells the story about how you plan to deliver agreed upon results for your project, including the timing, duration, team, and goals. It's a snapshot of all you intend to do on your project.

Your plan should clearly outline the scope of work, success factors/ performance indicators, key milestones/deliverables, risks, your contingency plans, constraints and assumptions, a financial plan, and last, but not least, a communication plan.

Optional: You can use any PM tool, e.g., MS Excel, Smartsheet, Trello, or MS Project to create your project schedule.

How to Proceed

Download the Project Plan Template.

Use the template to create your own project plan for your individual project.

Save and share it with your peers to gather their feedback.

Revise your project plan.

Submit your final project plan through the Project Plan dropbox by the date specified in the Course Outline.
