The purpose of this assignment is to introduce you to some of the basic research in the area of Performance Management The article for review has been selected by the Lecturers/Tutors and you are required to submit an article review, NOT A SUMMARY OF THE ARTICLE - PLEASE RESEARCH THE DIFFERENCE TO ASSIST IN THIS ASSIGNMENT

The article review must include the following: 1. A description of the content of the article i.e. summary of what the article is about and relevance to performance Management. 2. A Comprehensive discussion of at least four (4) critical points raised and discussed in the document and their relevance to the world of work. 3. An Identification of the strengths and weaknesses of the content of the article (a minimum of three of each i.e. three strengths and three weaknesses). 4. Agreement and/or disagreement with a minimum of three points raised in the article and justify why agree/disagree? 5. Four (4) recommendations of how the material discussed in the article can be applied in the workplace. PLEASE NOTE For this article review, emphasis must be placed on the comprehensive ANALYSIS OF THEARTICLE, and therefore do not spend too much time and space only summarizing the article - we are more interested in your analysis of the article, your demonstration of understanding and critical thinking skills. IT IS AN ARTICLE REVIEW AND NOT AN ARTICLE SUMMARY.
