The purpose of this research paper is for the student to demonstrate an understanding of the concepts related to the vertical structure of organizations from chapter 8 in the Bateman textbook. The paper will include descriptions and applications of span of control, delegation, responsibility, authority, and accountability. Select a job or position you have held, or currently hold, or aspire to and describe it in terms of the above concepts. Describe a change to one or more of the aforementioned concepts that you would make to that job to improve it. Explain why you would make the change
