The purpose of this study was to see if there was a significant difference in job satisfaction among teachers (1), nurses (2), or psychologist (3). A job satisfaction survey was given to all participants. The possible range of scores was 0 to 100 with 100 being the highest job satisfaction and 0 being the lowest.
Overview
The purpose of this study was to see if there was a significant difference in job satisfaction among teachers, nurses, or psychologist. The independent variable was type of job and the dependent variable was job satisfaction as measure by the Job Satisfaction Scale. A One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used to test the hypothesis. This Findings Section includes the research question, null hypothesis, data screening, descriptive statistics, assumption testing, and results.
RQ: Is there a significant difference between job satisfaction among teachers, nurses, or psychologist?
Null Hypothesis
H0: There is no significant difference in job satisfaction among teachers, nurses, or psychologist.
The independent variable was type of job and the dependent variable was job satisfaction. The researcher rejected/failed to reject the null hypothesis at the 95% confidence level where F(0, 00) = 00.00, p = .00. Partial eta square equaled (h2part = .000). The effect size was extremely large/ very large/ large/ medium/ small. There was/was not a statistical difference in job satisfaction among teachers (M = 00.00, SD = 00.00), nurses (M = 00.00, SD = 00.00), and psychologists (M = 00.00, SD = 00.00). See Table 4 for Tests of Between-Subjects Effects.
Scenario: The purpose of this study was to see if there was a significant difference in job satisfaction among teachers (1), nurses (2), or psychologist (3). A job satisfaction survey was given to all participants. The possible range of scores was 0 to 100 with 100 being the highest job satisfaction and 0 being the lowest.
