A/ Access Control System Stateaaent: The purpose is to protect a building by restricting aceess to certain roems. The epening of each of the doors of these rooms is centrelled by a badec reader placed ncarby. The badges that allow the docrs to be opened are only issued to people whe need to access the protected premises in the coearse of their duties. Access rights are allocated between groups of people and doer groops so that groups, a person or a door must always be in at least one group (its own). A doof group can contain doors scattered throughoot the beilding. A given door can beloeg to enly cee door group. The same person can belong to mote than one group, so that his access rights correspond to the union of the access rights of each of the groaps that contain him. The definition of access rights is carried out by describing for cach groep of poople the different groups of doors that are accessible and under what time constraints. The access rights are described in an annual calendar that deseribes the situation weck by week. Because of the small variatioe in rights over time, a calendar can be initialized with typical wecks that describe a grven rights configuration. The superviser can create as many sample wecks as he or she wats. Changes made to a weck are automatically propagated io all schedules that use that sample week. The access control system should operate as autonomously as possible. A supervisor is responaible for the initial configuration and updating of the various information defining groups of people and docrs. A guard has a control scteen and is informed of unsuccessful access attempti. The alanns are transmitted in slightly delayed time: the update of the information on the control screen is updated erery minute. 1 W223 - PRINCTPLES OF TWARE ENGINIIRING Questions: 1.
