The reason for the different decisions in Peter v Flemings and Nash v Inman was that (1) The item was needed by the minor in Nash v Inman for his daily living. (2) The minor in Peter v Flemings has the money to pay for the item. ( 3) The item has been customised for the minor in Nash v Inman. ( 4) The minor in Peter v Flemings was accustomed to enjoy the benefit of such item in keeping with his station in life
