The regulation will change how dietary supplements are introduce into interstate commerce. The manufacturers are required to submit a notification to FDA with the information on the basis that dietary supplement will reasonably be expected to be safe. Further, FDA's regulations require for manufacturers to follow current good manufacturing practices to ensure identity, strength, quality, purity, and composition of dietary supplements (USFDA, 2024)
