The results of the adaptive leadership questionnaire told me that I scored that highest and do the best in the area of regulating distress and I scored the worst in the area of maintaining disciplined attention. Adaptive leadership is the ability of a leader to adapt to complete goals and objectives all the while handling complex social interactions (Boyar et al., 2023). The questionnaire gave some insight into my adaptive leadership style by showing me that I am not an authoritarian when it comes to leading others. I allow a safe space to be developed so that the group can tackle difficult situations. It tells me that I have the ability to be calm in tense situations when conflict arises. It also tells me that I struggle in the area of not letting individuals I view as low status to give radical input. Overall, neither of these surprise me because they both go along with being a coach, teacher, and student minister.
