The results of the Pearson correlation analysis revealed significant relationships between Life Satisfaction, Emotional Regulation, and Locus of Control, providing valuable insights into the interplay of these variables. A Pearson correlation was utilized to examine the relationships between Life Satisfaction, Emotional Regulation, and External Locus of Control at the .05 alpha level. The Pearson correlation analysis revealed a statistically significant, moderate positive correlation between Life Satisfaction and Emotional Regulation, indicating that as Life Satisfaction increases, Emotional Regulation tends to increase as well. The analysis revealed that the correlation between Life Satisfaction and Emotional Regulation was positive, weak in strength, and statistically significant, r (108) = .328, p < .001. As the level of Life Satisfaction increases (M = 26.24; SD = 5.83), Emotional Regulation also increases (M = 33.68; SD = 6.73). This indicates that higher levels of Life Satisfaction are related to higher levels of Emotional Regulation. The Pearson correlation analysis revealed a statistically significant negative relationship between Life Satisfaction and Locus of Control, suggesting that changes in Life Satisfaction do not necessarily correspond with changes in the perception of Locus of Control.
