"The sellers (Sawchuks) agree that for five years they will not own or operate a restaurant anywhere within 20 km of Parksville."

As it turns out, retirement did not suit the Sawchuks.When their son approached them with a new business opportunity, they jumped at the chance to get back to work.Their son was starting a food truck business and wanted his parents to be chefs.The food truck opened in the spring of 2021 and operated throughout the eastern part of Vancouver Island, including Parksville, through the summer.Business was excellent.
