The scenario in chapter 4 from Democratic Discord in Schools by Levinson and Fay, "The Price of Safety," Is a scenario where the school district is possibly partnering with the sheriifs department to fight gangs, and have gang prevention in the schools provided by a grant from the DOJ. There are six (6) commentaries about the scenario which follow in the text. The commentaries address a variety of themes and concepts which the scenario illustrates.
