The scenario presented in the video represents a task conflict as the two employees had a disagreement about which quality of the product in question was most important, the quality or the price/ amount of profit generated from each product sold. As demonstrated in the third potential way of managing the conflict in the video, the best aspect of the negotiation process for that particular situation was to compromise. Another important element to this conflict resolution, which is something I would implement as a leader in the same situation was, letting both sides know that I am understanding of their viewpoints but that a compromise of some kind is going to be necessary if the deadline for the project is going to be met. And then, once the final decision involves a compromise, both sides will feel like their ideas were important and played a role in the success of the overall decision that was made
