"Look at that! $181,000 in February and $187,100 in March. You'd better get your payroll cost under control by May!!" Your next five payrolls look like this: 5-Apr $94,200 19-Apr $93,600 3-Mayl $90,700 17-May $89,600 31-Mayl $87,400 14-Jun $89,100 On June 6, your boss says "Your April payroll was higher than March and your May payroll was over $267,000!
