The Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR) 2015-2030 is the successor framework to the Hyogo Framework for Action. Malaysia has to implement the SFDRR and report its progress in another eight years to come. The latest report has mentioned the flood risk in Malaysia. In the latest Malaysian report for SFDRR, the flood had the most significant impact on Malaysia. (a) Outline the FOUR priorities for action and relate Priority number 4 with the latest flood event on December 2021. (b) Compare other case studies with the response to the major flood event on December 2021 (the response can be from responding agencies or the community).
