The state of Bliss used to allow its insurance companies to charge different insurance premiums by gender. Most of its citizens (99.8%) are covered by some sort of insurance. The new Supreme Court decision has ruled differential rate setting unconstitutional and now everyone in Bliss must pay the same insurance premiums regardless of gender or other individual characteristics. The most likely effect on premium rates will be: Rates will increase for everyone Rates will increase only for those previously insured Rates will decrease for everyone Rates will increase for the low-risk pool and decrease for the high-risk pool of subscribers
