The strategic focus I decided on is "Enhance our diverseP high-performance culture and Tivori-zforce" and the diversity implication I decided on was "Build a workforce that understands the racial-"ethnic; gender, sexual orientation, and generational diversity of the market" Each of these elements is vital in making sure there is equal diversity amongst the work environment. It is becoming more common to he more aware of diversity in businesses and to make sure everyone is treated fairly without judgement. At ema there are three different 1ways they could ensure the workplace has the ability and understanding of diversity for overall success. Setting up workshops or training modules [at my workplace we are required to do these kinds of things], education is key in this. To create a positive response, there has to be an understanding of what is expected and how to handle tough situations or uncomfortable scenarios that may take place within the space and dealing 1with diversity. Another is Rewarding good behavior is another way}. by making sure you reco gnise your employees positive behavian it allow the employee to know they are of value and it encourages them to continue their hard work and positive behavior. Lastly; sending an email out to do a basic survey to better assist employees should they have any questions or concerns that should be addressed anonymously. My company does this quarterly} they are sent to our manager unanimously and she reviews them and we all come together to focus on what should change; how to fix it and what we can do to actively contribute in making things better
