The floor systems consist of one-way and two-way solid slabs supported by beams running in both directions, as shown in the floor plan. (Story height is 3.75 m). The design loads for the floor (not including the self-weight) include a superimposed dead load (SDL) of 3.0 kN/m to account for moveable partitions, ceiling panels, etc., and a live load (LL) to be determined from ASCE 7-16. In addition, a 6.0 kN/m wall load is applied around the building perimeter. The design loads for the roof (not including the self-weight) include a superimposed dead load (SDL) of 2.0 kN/m. Overview of Required Design: A. B. C. Design the continuous beams on Grids A, D and 2 of the second suspended floor, assuming that they support the one-way and two-way slab systems. Design the one-way and two-way slabs (S1, S2, S3 and S4) as a continuous slab system of the second suspended floor. Design and detail the columns for all four stories for the location where grid lines C and 3 intersect.
