The student will search the library database (or Google Scholar) for a scholarly paper published in a peer-reviewed academic journal. The article should (a) deal with a topic of interest to the student and (b) include methodology, analysis, results, and discussion sections. Prepare a critique of the article. Your report should contain the author's abstract plus your critique (1 to 3 pages, double-spaced), addressing questions such as:

1. What type of study did the author(s) do?

• What research approach?
• What methodology?
• What was the theory underlying the investigation?
• What was the research question and/or hypothesis(es)?
• How did the author determine the results? What tests were used?
• What were the results?
• What additional questions might one ask to extend the research, or what might the author(s) have done differently?
