The table presented on Excel File Problem 1 presents a sample of 20 customers serviced by Trust Auditing Company and the respective time it takes to execute a Financial Audit. The table also presents the respective number of employees at each customer.

a. (1 point) Create a scatter diagram with Time to complete Audit on Y-axis and Number of employees on X-axis. Make sure you add the following chart elements: Chart Title, Axis Titles

b. (1 point) Calculate: Mean, Mode, Range, Standard Deviationand Coefficient of Variation for the sample of 20 values for the Time to complete Audit.

c. (1 point) Calculate: Mean, Mode, Range, Standard Deviation and Coefficient of Variation for the sample of 20 values for the Number of Employees.

d. (1 point) The General Manager at Trust Auditing Company believes that there is a linear association between Time to complete Audit and Number of Employees for a given customer, therefore she requested you to use the data provided and calculate the Sample Covariance between these two variables by using two approaches. First, by using formula 2.9 in chapter 2 and create a table similar to Table 2.15 of your textbook (page 58). The second, by using the COVARIANCE function in Excel.

e. (1 point) Calculate the Correlation Coefficient for the relationship between Time to complete Audit (Y) and Number of Employees (X), based on the data provided, by using the applicable Excel function and discuss the result you obtained. Based on the scatter diagram you created in topic (a) and the value obtained for the Correlation Coefficient value, discuss if the General Manager is right about the linear association between the two variables.
