The term Multifiber Arrangement (MFA) alluded to a worldwide economic deal including attire and materials. The MFA was laid out in 1974 and forced portions on how much apparel and material that agricultural nations could product to created countries. The arrangement was overseen under the General Agreement of Tariffs and Trade (GATT) in Switzerland. Implied as a transitory understanding, the MFA finished on Jan. 1, 1995, and was supplanted by the Agreement on Textiles and Clothing under the World Trade Organization (WTO). 12
