The Trades Union is conducting an organizing campaign at Meter Services, a company contracted by a provincial power company to conduct meter readings at the homes of its residential customers. Meter Services has dismissed an employee, John Lyons, on the basis of poor performance. The union has led a complaint with the labour relations board alleging that the employer did not have just cause for the dismissal and that the dismissal was motivated by anti-union animus
