The two basic types of project selection models are numeric and non-numeric. The type of model used is based on the decision makers involved and information available. It is important to note that models do not make decisions. People do! You need to make a decision on which project your team will engage in over the next 16 weeks. To arrive at a decision requires some level of negotiation. The negotiating process should bring all parties to a healthy resolution where each person feels satisfied with the final agreement.
