the two picture show the question and the answer to the question. But I dont understand what is meant by C cannot be greater than 4^n/2^n? why is this true for example if I choose n to be 1 I would get 2 so I can use a constant greater than 2. please explain as much as possible. Thank you.
I would like to prove or disprove 4" = O(2") I think you may have to simplify the 4" to 2" * 2" but am unsure where to go from there. Any idea? Thank you share improve this question 1 Answer order by votes Remember f(n) = (g(n)) if f(n) = O(g(n)) and f(n) = N(g(n)) Also f(n) = O(g(n)) if f(n) no and constant c With that, if 4" = O(2"), then 4" no and constant c, but this is clearly impossible becauseStep by Step Solution
