While we have learned that PEOPLE try to maximize Utility, BUSINESS tries to maximize PROFIT, and POLITICIANS try to maximize VOTES, how do we know what is best for our ECONOMY. Explain how government policies effect the standard of living. You should define how standard of living is figured and give specific examples of how government policies and actions have helped or hurt our standard of living.
