The variance is .03 ounces difference so yes, Coca-Cola's management should be concerned. The reason management should be concerned is that it is taking 0.03 ounces more to fill a liter of Coke since the normal variance is 0.05 ounces and it is taking 0.08 ounces in a recent measurement. This means it costs more to fill a liter of Coke which can lead to huge losses over the manufacturing process, and they are losing more on the price to fill unless they are charging more and that doesn't seem as though a price increase was implemented based on the question. The textbook states that in measuring a normal variance statistic would need to be conducted to measure the spread of difference (Anderson et al, 2020). The measurement would provide statistical data that would lead management to corrective action or in knowing that this is a normal variance. In statistics a variability is considered normal in some instances and the standard deviation must be measured (Frost, 2022). The distribution in this instance is outside of the "normal" variance so I believe it would indicate that there is a standard deviation set that would make the normal variance 0.05 which would mean that this is well outside the allowable variance and that management would need to react to mitigate loss. There are many ways that management can reduce the variance by quality control, better equipment and job training. If they can't get the costs down on the Coke, then there will be profit loss and it would be a concern to everyone but most importantly management. please discuss using references to support
