The vision statement that i have chosen is from California Veterans Assistance Foundation.

"To restore and improve lives by alleviating homelessness through information, advocacy, and service".

This vision statement is imperative to the many needy homeless veterans that are not knowledgeable in navigating through life after service. The vision statement states that through information, avocation and services provided that lives may be restored. This vision statement is important because its clear as to the services that a person in need can receive.

This statement isrelevantin today's environment and more so in the state of California as homelessness has become an epidemic. After the pandemic many were left without employment and dependent on government assistance. For some the assistance came in on time and for others it came in too late resulting in homelessness.

Improvements that I would recommend for this vision statement is adding more of the services and what a client can obtain. Ultimately a veteran and their family can obtain rapid re housing or homeless prevention services that then result in permanent supportive housing. I absolutely love the vision statement of CVAF.

Setting the clients up for success is the ultimate goal!
