The Wetlands Redevelopment Project was awarded $350,000 through the Wetlands Conservation grant in July 2019. The projected timeline for the Wetlands Redevelopment Project is January 2020 - June 2021. Due to the specialized nature of the project, there is a significant need to have a staff member who is a certified Professional Wetlands Scientist (PWS) to manage the project to ensure the actions taken are positively impacting wildlife. There is a Biologist on staff that has a PWS certification and will work 75% of their time on this project, while maintaining their regular position with the remaining 25% of their time. This position will work on the project from the start date until completion. This position is not currently working on any other grant funded projects. The monthly salary for Biologist is $12,250.00.
