The Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981 (WA), provides compensation for workers injured (along with certain dependents in the event of a worker’s death) on a ‘no fault’ basis for injuries sustained in Western Australian workplaces. The Act also provides for rehabilitation and retraining for parties involved in workers compensation matters.
