Theories are put in practice with human influences throughout (in theory's creation, research, application evaluation, etc.). Practitioners are not robots - they are human beings, with history, personal values and personal biases. Discuss the distinction between values and biases. Give examples of the potential for researchers to import personal values throughout the creation, design and implementation of theory-specific research. Give examples of the potential for practitioners to import theory-specific research for practice based on their own personal values (for example, influence of personal spirituality, religion, personal philosophy). Research (at least two peer-reviewed articles) the theoretical and ideological construct of self awareness. Provide examples of practices that support and bring about self-awareness and self-regulation.
