Theory Paper (8-10 pgs.) - Choose two major theories from the Corey textbook to explore in depth. For each theory, use at least one original source (e.g., publications written by the theory's creator(s) and published in professional, peer-reviewed journals or books). For each theory, use at least one source from someone other than the main theorist. A minimum of five total references is required for an "A" grade, and you may have more references. The Corey text may ONLY be used as a fifth reference for the biographical and multicultural sections. Other textbooks may not be used as sources. Sources used must be from professional journals or books, not web-based pages, audio, or video. . In the two theory sections, most sentences should have a supporting citation. Paraphrase and summarize sources as opposed to using direct quotes.
