g(x) = (x+1)/(x^2-1)
For this problem, I got the answer -(1/2) but I'm not sure if that's correct. I used the denominator to find the original equation undefinable at x = -1,1. Then, I plugged my number into the equation to get (x+1)/(x+1)(x-1) which then went to 1/(x-1) and finally to 1/(-1 -1) which simplified to -1/2. I feel really uncertain about if that's right or not and was wanting to reach out for help and/or verification.
