There are key elements to the change initiative that must be considered so that it can be sustainable and successful for the organization and daily operation. Some barriers and issues from this initiative are definitely going to include the resistance and insubordination from leadership and/or staff (Flannery et al. 2019). For example, the staff that is not agreeing with this initiative is going to put in minimal effort, in hopes that following the majority of the project would bypass time and continue with their normal operation. This will not be acceptable, however, and in serious cases, disciplinary action could be necessary. In cases where the leadership team is ineffective, it is possible that the organization can take matters into their own hands and possibly revamp the majority or entirety of the team. There are going to be some bumps with any project, but overcoming challenges and not being afraid to make serious decisions is going to ensure long-term success for the change plan, and the organization as a whole
