There are many conventions for quoting exchange rates, some of which are counterintuitive. My preferred method is that the notation EA/B means the exchange rate of the number of units of currency A needed to buy one unit of currency B. In other words, if E$/ = 1.19, it means that it takes $1.19 to buy 1 ( is the euro symbol). If E$/ = 1.33 and E$/ = 1.19, what should E/ equal, if the possibility of arbitrage exists? Show all work.
