There are many programming languages and software packages available to do statistical analysis and modeling. The first two classes in MS Data Science will use R programming, but we will also use SAS, python, Tableau and others throughout the program. Please describe your own experience with R programming, or other software for data science. What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of these software and programming languages?
