There are many ways that psychologists can assess someone's personality such as interviews, projective tests (Rorschach), and observation. However, self-reported surveys and assessments are a very popular and convenient way for professionals to learn aspects of one's personality. For this discussion, after taking the Big Five Inventory, define each of the main categories and answer the following questions:

• Do you think the results were accurate in reflecting your personality? Explain why or why not.
• What are some of the circumstances where a psychological test might be needed?
• Detail some of the ethical considerations (using the APA Ethical Guidelines) in regards to psychological testing. What ethical considerations would you include regarding culture and diversity?
• Also, what are some of the challenges with self-reported testing?
