There is a startup that helps international students get into university (undergrad) in the US. They have launched with mainland Chinese students but plan to go after all international students in the long term. They have 2 revenue streams: One time flat fee of $5000 USD for an online assessment, online resources and content and a certain number of consulting hours from an admissions consultant. 20% of their customers opt into premium services (extra hours of consulting, private tours of universities, essay review, etc) They have told us that 9M international students want to attend US universities each year. Currently, 1.5M of them matriculate (meaning they are successful in attending a US university).
