There is moral development from Piaget's point of view, however another perspective is introduced by Lawrence Kohlberg. Kohlberg identified three levels of moral thinking.

List all three levels of his moral thinking theory an then identify which one is the lowest level and is controlled by external punishment and rewards.

In your opinion, chose between the idea of punishment to control moral thinking or giving the child a reward to control moral thinking and discuss why you chose that idea.
