There is much disagreement about the "proper" way to measure the unemployment rate in this country. Given what you know about unemployment and what we have discussed in class, do you think that the way that measure unemployment in this country is sufficient to understand the state of the economy? If not, what other information do you think we need or how should we change the way we measure unemployment to give us a more accurate picture of the economy?
