There is much discussion today about income inequality and how people should pay their "fair share" of taxes. Look at the data about who is paying what percentage of the totaltaxes collected and what percentage of their income is going to the federal government. This does not include state taxes which can be as high as 10-12 % in some states, 5 percent in Massachusetts.
Do you consider the current US federal tax code fair? If so, why, if not what would you change it to, roughly? Would you consider changing it to the Russian tax code which is basically a flat 13% for everyone? Is that fair?
