There was a quarrel between Fakir and Miskin. Miskin insistently disapproved of Fakir's romantic relationship with his younger sister. An hour later, Fakir returned to Miskin's house accompanied by his brother Yadman. On discovering Miskin at the back of the house, Fakir attacked him with a machete while Yadman set fire to Miskin's house. Miskin was worried for the safety of his children inside the house.
