Think about some of the deductions made from employees pay in your workplace and answer the following questions:

1. What deductions are permitted by your employer, within your industry? These could include such things as uniforms, insurance and so forth.
2. What happens if there is an overpayment in an employees pay, and how should it be corrected?
3. To identify what deductions are NOT permitted by employers, and what are the consequences if these deductions are made unlawfully?
