Think about the organization you currently are employed (were employed, hope to be employed or an organization you are familiar with if you aren't employed). The organization is trying to understand what to expect in each of the program life cycle phases. Because you understand the amount of work that must be done in the program definition phase (See Table 7-1 on page 104) explain what your organization's leadership will need to understand about the program management plan as it relates to the strategic thinking of the organization.
