Think about yourself as a younger person. Remember some of the things you did. Remember your attitude about people and life. If you could communicate to your past self, what would you want your younger self to know? How would you help your younger self prepare for what you know is coming? What decision should your younger self change? What attitude did your younger self have that you know will come in handy? Or what attitude will need to change? As a side note: It is okay if there is nothing about your life you would change. All our experiences have made us who we are. The personal narrative is about reflection and thinking about your life. Writing about what your past self could know isn't about wanting to change who you are. It's about recognizing how each moment played a part in your development. For example: I used to have a terrible temper. I could get angry in a snap. I might want to tell my younger self that it's okay to let things go.
