For example, you didn't/couldn't follow the directions given, they didn't feel understood, or there were aspects of the situation that weren't addressed. NOTES: (1) You can think of healthcare very broadly, including emergency services, medical appointments, exercise classes, therapy, healthy eating, seminars on wellness, etc. (2) You do not have to tell us WHO the situation happened to unless you and the person are comfortable doing so.
After explaining the situation, either (1) apply the biopsychosocial model to the situation and tell us both how the factors interacted with each otherand what factors were overlooked that led to a negative outcome or (2) tell us how at least 3 of the lifespan perspectives apply to the situation and what contributed to a negative outcome.
For example, you might note that your sister was given medication for her depression (biological) but no one addressed the extremely dysfunctional relationship she was in (social) nor asked about her self-esteem significantly decreasing in the past year (psychological). Or, you could note how a doctor from a different generation/cohort didn't understand why she couldn't just "disconnect from social media" to help her depression, told her to just leave the relationship without understanding the cultural factors surrounding it, or missed an opportunity to discuss the plasticity of her brain and how her depression might have come from the new communication patterns she had with her partner.
